I have been in the field of computing for nearly 30 years, and still after all this time I have a passion for it.
I have a strong sense of pride in what I do, I love to know that when I’m done with a job you get a 5 star service, 4 I could live with, but 3 I would not be able to sleep at night.
I can be rather OCD and don’t like anything done that isn’t something I would have done on my own computer system. This means that you will never get an under rated or second hand job.
I love breaking things down until they make sense, if I don’t understadn the details behind it, or the theory of what it’s trying to accomplish I can’t give anyone justice that it’s working correctly. There have been many nights where I will not stop researching until I get it.
I believe in study, and in research, I have seen many jobs over the years with even big companies where the technician doesn’t fully understand the principles and theory behind what they are fixing, or offering as a solution. Honesty how can anyone give you a great service if they themselves don’t understand what they are actually selling you past the point of “it does the job”.
I have seen many jobs where the customer has stopped listening to a Trusted Advisor and started listening to odd person here, opr the odfd staff member there, and it’s dangerous. No one would take odd advice when it comes to electrical work, nor when it comes to fixing your car, so my task is to earn that trust and become the Trusted Advisor for your work place.
